May the force be with you

Improvements at Elstree & Borehamwood Station were celebrated by actress Barbara Windsor ably escorted by a phalanx of Star Wars characters including Darth Vader.

The old forecourt has been transformed making the station easier for stars and commuters alike. Carry-on star Barbara Windsor unveiled a plaque. The station is run by First Capital Connect and enjoys a good relationship with the nearby film studios.

The original movie, Star Wars, despite being set in a galaxy far, far away was largely filmed in Elstree Studios.
