Free lunchtime webinar from CIRAS: The importance of raising health and safety concerns

As transport workers around the country return to work after the lockdown, having been either working from home or furloughed, they are finding that life is still a challenge.

Everyone’s life has been dominated by Covid-19 for a while now, but, of course, all the health and safety issues that existed before the virus are still there.  It’s as important now as it’s ever been that employees speak up about ANY health, safety and wellbeing issue that are worrying them – so their concerns can be heard, and action taken where necessary.

CIRAS, a reporting service where staff can raise health, safety and wellbeing concerns confidentially, has arranged a lunchtime webinar for transport staff: ‘Why it is important for you to raise your health and safety concerns: it’s not all about Covid-19.’

The online seminar takes place on Wed, 16 September 2020 between 12:30 and 13:15 and is aimed at frontline workers in the transport industry. Experts will talk about why health and safety reporting matters so much, how people can report what’s worrying them and where CIRAS fits in.

It’s all in confidence, and details of participants will not be shared with anybody.
